Reviews (8.3 Excellent)
Easy to get around from here, friendly staff, facilities all ok. Ticks the boxes for somewhere clean, cheap, firendly and central.
can't say about fun and personnality much, only stayed one night. i appreciated the location and cleanliness, also i was able to sleep really well, no noise on that day (weekday).
Piscis Backpackers is highly vibrant, yet with the most relaxed attitude. If you are open to meeting new people and you like socialising, then you should definitely enjoy your stay. With the relaxed attitude however, comes a relaxed approach to the hostel itself; our dorm door had no lock, and not all (of the four!) showers always worked, and were very slow in repair. Breakfast is in the same room as the 'lounge area' but if you aren't looking at formality, then that's fine. I would definitely take at least one night to do the pub crawl; a fun and clever way to view the city. If I ever return to Malaga, I would go back :)
That's a good place if you're looking for something cheap and good at once. They service brakfest and give you plantly of ideas how to spend evening in the city. Unfortunately the air-conditioning runs very poor but for that value - I can not complain!! ;)
I needed to stay one night in Malaga before an early flight the next morning. I saw on this hostel's website they offered transport to the airport. When I arrived I asked about that and they gave me instructions to take the train. Which was easy, but not the same thing. I was also given a room directly connected to the kitchen/common area making it very, very noisy at night and in the morning. There was also a man passed out in the common room in the morning and I felt bad disturbing him to make breakfast. The one nice thing was that I signed up for the female dorm and was actually put in a room with only one other person, meaning I nearly had it to myself. The level of cleanliness was fine.
